  Atmosphere great. Room high standard with the most comfy bed and gorgeous bedding. We stayed in bedroom 3 which has a big bay window and a balcony. We really can't describe how great our room was! The breakfasts were amazing, using locally sourced products. Unobtrusive, efficient staff in this family run hotel. Visiting family we travel 250 miles ... wat mensen zeggen » to Cornwall 4 times a year, staying in hotels and have found a little gem. Highly recommended to anyone. We want to come back next week! If only! - Fantastic location, really friendly staff. Room was lovely and the decoration was modern, crisp and clean. The breakfast was amazing. There was a huge firework display while we stayed and we sat out the front with big mugs of coffee and had the most fantastic view. Checking out the manager said we could leave our car for as long as we liked and enjoyed our last day. A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful location

  The welcome we received on arrival was excellent the breakfast was plentlfull and good (including the scrambled egg)a parking spot was provided although it did not come with room package,Many thanks to Bev and Ian for making our stay a pleasant one - The Hollies was beautifully situated.   I was with my daughter and granddaughter who is 17months old. Our room was perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb and included in the price. If you are looking for a boutique type hotel this is not for you, but I would stay here over any boutique hotel. The setting was magnificent. Beautiful grounds and woodland... wat mensen zeggen » s. Even the walk back to the hotel from St Ives up the big hill was not enough to put me off going again. - The hotel was absolutely amazing! So friendly and had a lovely warm welcome and ports of smiles and politeness from all staff. Food was delicious and well presented. Our room was AMAZING, we had a beautiful view of the sea and the room was kept nice and clean everyday by the wonderful cleaning staff. We will be staying again with you in the future!   The location of course is fantastic, as are the views. What impressed me most is the fact that whereas many seaside hotels are looking a bit tired, the Pedn Olva has been (to my knowledge at least) renovated twice in the last ten years or so - the more recent earlier this year. On arrival I was actually shown to the room (very few places bother wi... wat mensen zeggen » th this these days unless it's a very expensive hotel). The very pleaseant young woman proudly opened the bathroom door and said 'and here is the bath - This hotel is excellent all round. Location in the rocky cliffs with superb views from dinning area, bar and balconies is first class. The breakfast offers a choice for all tastes with lots of fresh fruit, bars snacks are good for a mid day nibble and the evening meal offers a wide variety of well prepared locally sourced food. Lovely small heated pool from which you can see the ocean as you swim. Staff completely helpful and friendly. What is there not to like? It isn't the cheapest in St Ive

  We hadden een ruime kamer. - the staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly, the breakfasts were hearty and the service excellent, the bar was open late, hotel was easy to find. - fantastic, helpful staff and pleasant stay :)
