  The hotel staff were lovely and really friendly. They made us very welcome and I would go back there any time I was in the area. - The owners were lovely very welcoming cup of tea and biscuits on arrival. Room clean and very nice breakfast.

  This is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in and I travel a lot! Some country hotels are full of old furniture and have a really musty smell and dank feel to them. I'm told it's rustic. This hotel is not like that at all. It's clean, bright and airy and very comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was really goo... wat mensen zeggen » d. Breakfast was standard but the dinner was exceptional, definitely worth dining in for. Location is great, it's a wonderful walk down in to Bridling - We really liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and staff. The meals we had were excellent. We particularly liked the on site Bistro which served up good, value for money meals. The hotel was set in lovely grounds and was handy to get to the cliff top walks and set in a very pleasant village.

  I booked the super suite with a large bed for me and my wife, It was a valentine weekend. We stopped in the Berlington suite which was on the top floor. The hotel looks slightly dated from the outside and the hallways, BUT when we got to our room.....WOW the suite was amazing,clean,light and modern. The staff were helpful and polite. I would definitely book again but I would only stop in the Berlington suite now! :-) - The staff were fabulous, very welcoming and we enjoyed the homely and friendly atmosphere this created. We could understand why guests returned to the Expanse year after year. It was also great to see so many extended family groups in the hotel. The location is excellent. Fabulous sea view. No category above to suit our group - family group - 2 adults over 50, one over 70 with limited mobility.
