  The most outstanding feature of this hotel is the owner who makes you feel as if you were staying with a friend. I had an ensuite shower in my room which was tucked in quite well, making the most of the space but the bathroom for rooms without facilities was nearby and looked very nice. The décor is done in 'Beach' style which is very pleasant. ... wat mensen zeggen » The room and public spaces were very clean. The breakfast was lovely. The location is ideal for local shops, gardens and beach and for bus stops to - Top place, extremely nice lady owner, highly recommended. Very very large room (I had a double with my daughter), nicely furnished, Bathroom was in the hallway, but privat, a little bit awkward, I would have preferred en suite, there was a sink in the room, though. WiFi worked. Enough parking space along the streets. Very quiet residential area, bus stop 3 min away, 5-10 min walk to Boscombe Pier (beach), just perfect. I would definitely book again.

  Reception warm and welcoming.Rooms excellent, ours was huge, the ensuite very clean-very impressed at having fresh towels and shower curtain on the first morning, especially as only staying for two nights. Would highly recommend this hotel - The owners are amazing people. Although I had a reservation for a single room, I stayed in a double one. I needed a plug adapter and I was immediately offered one, while some other colleagues I was with in Bournemouth for a conference and who were accommodated in fancier hotels had to go downtown and buy one. Extremely good value!

  I did like the price. The hotel is in a perfect location, you can walk anywherr from the beach to oceanarium or bournemouth baloon within 5-10 mintes, there is asda and subway nearby. So you can easly get the essencial bits and bobs that u have forgoten to take for your holiday, or pop in to subway for a quick sub. Thats all about location from me... wat mensen zeggen » . Staff very friendly, we felt realy good there, breakfast was realy nice and in a good calm atmosphere, I did like the fact it was served between 8.3 - Every thing. Staff, comfort, location, cleanliness, fresh towels daily, in room tea/coffee making facilities topped up daily. Jorge was welcoming, friendly with good advice on where to go and how to get there. He prepared an early 7am breakfast and ordered a taxi for us on the morning of our departure as we had to catch an early train to London. Overall a very pleasent vacation and if we return to Bourne mouth we will definatly stay in the Shirley again.

  Na ontvangst in het Kings Langley hotel (erg aardige eigenaar!) bleek dat wij kamers hadden in het zusterhotel, Riviera. Prachtig gelegen, met uitzicht op zee. Eigenlijk nog beter dus dan het orginele hotel! Het personeel deed alles om ons verblijf aangenaam te maken, kaas bij het ontbijt?
