I enjoyed my stay at the County Hotel, The room was lovely, The heating was on and the room was cosy. The bathroom was great, bath and shower, heated towel rail also. The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was friendly. Very well priced and well worth it. This was a great location for us as we were visiting friends in Bonnyrigg, so only about a 1 mile away. IT was very clean and quiet, the front desk staff were very nice and very helpful to us regarding getting in to sight see in Edinburgh. They suggested that we take the bus due to parking, but we didn't and it was ok. We found parking without a problem. We would definitely recommend it if you are not interested in paying high rates in the actual city but want a nice, clean hotel and have a car to get around.

The staff was amazing. They were friendly and very helpful. The food was fantastic, filling and very affordable. The full breakfast was very good and was enough to keep you going through the day. The bus stops right outside the doors, which is extremely convenient. It's just a short ride into Edinburgh or Rosslyn Chapel. The bar was very inviting and had a great selection of beer, wine, cider and hard alcohol.

I must add, however, that there were problems.Like getting locked out at night, and first night we arrived, we onlygot a bedroom because another guest had changed rooms, and still had keyto the first room.
