  Booked the cottage and boy was I glad I did. Fantastic little place with superb gardens and all to myself. The meals in the restaurant were beyond reproach and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a relaxing peaceful holiday and yet less than 10 miles from the A1. This is defiantly somewhere I will be revisiting .......... wat mensen zeggen » . soon - The hotel was excellent offering spacious and comfortable rooms in a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was amongst the best that I've tasted in any hotel or restaurant. The log fire in the lounge area only enhanced the experience of staying in a beautiful country hotel.

  De kamers zijn eenvoudig en schoon - It was everything I have come to expect from Holiday Inns. Having use of the room until midday on departure day was an unexpected bonus. Evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. - the room was of a large size and very comftable. in a relaxing enviroment and east to locate.

  De sfeer van een oud Engels hotelletje, interieur was wel gedateerd, maar alles was schoon, de bedden fris, het ontbijt keurig verzorgd, prachtig gelegen aan het park en dichtbij het centrum - the staff and the owners were absolutley fantastic they couldnt do enough for us. the position of the hotel couldnt of been better it was overlooking the riv... wat mensen zeggen » er in a quiet spot but close enough to the centre to go shopping and a good night out. - i was there just for the night, and te staff was very helpfull and friendly
