  From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The facilities exceeded our expectations. Breda and her staff were friendly and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful with variety. We were supposed to stay for one night but were so impressed decided to stay an extra night. This was the first time we had stayed in a guest house as opposed to a hotel and based upo - Great location, 5 minutes walk from Southgate shops, restaurants and Underground station. We ate a lovely dinner at Kye's restaurant which is in the opposite direction to the shops, 5 minutes walk away. The Oaks is is in a quiet location with friendly hosts, and it was a clean and well presented room.

  The Hide London is very clean and extraordinarily comfortable. The beds were so comfortable that I slept through my alarms on 2 consecutive days. The hotel provides free water and soda (and free refills) in the fridge. The in-room safe is big enough to hold a laptop. The air-conditioner and temperature control works very well. The bed was comfortable, bedroom slippers a nice touch, room small but everything built in and well thought of and air cnditioning a bonus when warm.   Very nice place, clean and comfortable. Close to hendon central, exactly what I needed. Quite, beautiful and peaceful place. I booked a room for 115 pounds but as they did not have such rooms available I was given a room for 165 for price of 115. Very kind of the lady on reception. Though the reception closes at midnight she was waiting for a lat... wat mensen zeggen » e customer. - What a fantastic building hidden away amongst all the chaos. Staff were great especially the manager he was really friendly and helpful. My only negative which is a positive is that the advertising does not do the Pillar hotel justice.... Would highly reccomend to all my family and friends, fantastic.
