  This is a lovely family run hotel, and we were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It's conveniently located right in the heart of the town, and has its own private car-park. The rooms were very spacious and the bathroom fantastic - the bath was huge! Everything in the hotel looked brand new, almost as though we were the first gu... wat mensen zeggen » ests there. Breakfast was cooked to order, and was really nice quality. This is a very busy pub/restaurant and the food was all home cooked adn tasty - Really lovely beds with crisp cotton sheets. Very comfortable. Friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast included. Lovely restaurant/pub in evening. Definitely more of a hotel/restaurant feel than a pub!

  A great and unique hotel. The rooms were amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. The location is a great base for Cumbria, North Yorkshire and the North East. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant has a good menu. Couldn't recommend the hotel enough and would definately recommend a suite if one is available. - You get what you pay for ! Th... wat mensen zeggen » is is not a cheap option to stay at, but everything was excellent the room, service and food justified the price! If you can, book a suite the extra cost is worth it.
