  Lovely welcoming greeting from all the staff, who were always pleasant. Couldn't make the 1st night due to partner not being well, but on arrival was offered to stay the next night instead of losing a night. Very much appreciated as we were looking forward to the stay. food was excellent had breakfast both morning and evening meal both nights. Can... wat mensen zeggen » 't fault the food at all, overall an excellent couple of days. Do intend to re-visit in the summer if we get one. - The building is traditionally stone-built, in a commanding situation in an extremely scenic Yorkshire valley. It is family-run to a high standard, with courteous and efficient staff. The food, with an Italian emphasis, is excellent, and ensuite bathrooms have been exceptionally well added to a building of this type.
