We were there for a wedding and the staff were excellent and food was excellent and different from the standard - We had a fantastic stay, the food was service was 1st class, the room was 1st class, the staff were 1st class, it was more like staying on a cruise liner than a hotel,

The decor was a perfect mix of Farrow & Ball meets current day. Our room was to die for.. four poster bed with a rolltop bath in the room. They provide creative and traditional meals, present - Our room was spotlessly clean & very comfortable. The bed & bedding were superb. We really enjoyed our evening meal, which is several cuts above 'pub grub'. The breakfast was especially good, with a wide range of choices, like the delicious Eggs Florentine I had. The service was very efficient and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The settin is a perfect example of an English village with a village green, & was very peaceful.

You felt as if you was at home. - The staff were exceptionally friendly and made it feel very welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding. Ordered 2 meals from the bar food was hot and fresh and the portions were huge.Big thank you to the house keeping team who let me check out later due to a hideous migraine.
