  The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and there were plenty of tea and coffees sachets to keep me from being parched in the hot weather.   It's very easy to arrive in the house from the Central Station and it takes only 15 minutes walking from the house to the city center. Guest house is in a quiet area so that at night you can rest without being afraid about the noise of the cars or the people around. The staff are very kind, they helped me and recommended me many places to visit in... wat mensen zeggen » the city. The room was cozy and the bathroom had all the commodities I needed. - Having travelled extensively for many years, this is the best B & B I've stayed in. Although there for only one night, the good-humoured hosts Jim and Josie went out of their way to meet my requirements. Hunters Lodge is homely but immaculately clean and I hope I have the opportunity to stay there again in the future.

Had an early departure on the morning, but the manager kindly prepared me an excellent warm breakfast before the regular breakfast time.   Booking our stay with you could not have been easier, I would like to thank all of the staff for making our stay welcoming. We have been away from the area for over 10 year and will be re locating back to southampton. My husband still works away hence me booking a weekend for us to spend some time together and our stay with you was delightful. We will be staying with you again in the future, but it will only be for weekends as we both work full - The Room we had was really nice and clean and the breakfast was really value for money. The staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble one staff member offered to look something up on the internet for us. If ever we are in the area we will not go anywhere else but the Navigator

  We stayed at the kings head for one night and ate at the restaurant there. The staff were friendly and accommodating, fitting us in for dinner at last notice when they were busy and allowed us to leave our car with them the following day. Our room was very clean and well presented, the bed very comfortable and enjoyed the overall feel of the place... wat mensen zeggen » . - Arriving in the middle of a period of hot weather we were initially very uncomfortable in our room but the management went out and bought a fan. The food in the restaurant was very good and staff very helpful. Only a 10 minute drive into Winchester.

  Everything. This is a really lovely B&B, close to the motorway but right in the countryside. The room (Rose Room) was huge, very comfy and homely, lovely refreshments including port and nuts, thick fluffy towels, spotless and comfortable bedding, two comfortable armchairs for reading. We didn't make use of the residents' lounge but it looked lovely with books, games and squidgy sof - Staff were fantastic, attentive, amusing and efficient. Achieved a delightful mix of comfort, luxury and relaxation for guests. The location was very rural yet within easy reach of Romsey, WInchester, Portsmouth etc. Many thoughtful touches impressed, for example the room had not only the usual tea and coffee but fresh milk was in a fridge on the landing, there were great biscuits, port, nuts and other goodies!
