You did not have my surname correct, i.e. van Breemen, therefore at first the receptionist said I was not booked in which caused me some stress momentarily. You had correct details on your notification to me but not to them apparently. - Nice staff. The room and WC was spotless clean. Despite being very close to the airport the rooms are properly insulated against noise which added to a very comfortable bed gave us what they promise: a great night's sleep! The hotel is ideally located and very close to the airport, however bear in mind you should leave the airport complex and most important, if you are using your sat nav, the post code is wrong and it will take you to a parking inside the airport complex.

  The room was spacious comfortable, homely warm and spotless. The bathroom was more than adequate and sparkling clean. The staff especially June were friendly and professional, we were met with a hot drink and given full instructions about the Hotel and information where to eat locally. This Hotel is in a perfect location for Liverpool Airport and not that far from the train station. We will - When we arrived we were offered hot drinks while the receptionist explained safetyguide lines and meal times. Even though we were close to John Lennon Airport we did not hear any aircraft noise. We did not hear any noise from other guests at all.The whole place looked as though it had been newly painted, the carpets were clean and appeared to be new.   Due to a change in circumstances regarding attending an event in Widnes, we decided to make a return visit to the Cottage (previous stay in July 2013). Only booked mid afternoon for staying that evening. Phoned and enquired if we could arrive slightly later than the published time as we were travelling from Scotland.   me and my boyfriend stayed at the hale guest house for one night, our stay there was amazing. we where made feel welcome straight away by Billy who greeted us at the door and showed us up to our room. breakfast was great and served when suits you. Debbie and Bill are great hosts and make you feel right at home, we also made two very good friends c... wat mensen zeggen » alled Benson and Bonnie...big friendly giants! we wish to return to the guest house very soon and would recommend it to everyone. - Billy is a kind and friendly host. It only takes 10 minutes and 2 pounds on the 82A bus (direction Runcorn) to get to the Hale Village Post Office and then it is a 2 minute walk to the guesthouse. Best food close by is the Wellington pub - they have free WI-FI as does the guesthouse. Billy gave me a lift to the airport in the morning.

  Sue was an excellant friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Room very clean,tea ,coffee readily available. My husband had the full breakfast every morning and said how good it was. Although a little way out of the centre, the buses were brilliant. There was a stop not far from the house, they were regular and drivers helpful. Lovely, helpful owner, Sue, couldn't have done more to make us and the other guests feel 'at home'. So much better staying in the quiet suburbs than in the city centre with buses running every eight minutes or so from right outside the house into the city centre for shopping and sightseeing.
