  Excellent facilities, very helpful staff, the room (19) was very comfortable with HD TV, the shower in the bathroom was vey powerful, the food was very good, unfortunaltly I can't comment on the breakfast because I had to leave before 7.30am. Since my last visit 6 years ago the improvement to the rooms and the general decor has been updated to a good standard. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped.

  What a lucky find we had at Hillside House, such a friendly family team, who make you so very welcome. Our room was a delight, quite large with a large bathroom, with both shower and bath. We stayed in a double room, which was a very good size along with a good sized bathroom. The room was very clean and well furnished and in excellent order.   The welcome was superb, complimentary drinks mini bar and chocolate bar. I know it doesn't sound like much but those little touches really do make a stay more memorable. The staff were very helpful and the iPad they give you on check in was a superb addition. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, and of course my favourite pain au chocolates a plenty. Full size ones too! Location is great, The po - This is without a doubt one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is efficient but laid back . The hotel had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and the fitness facilities although not extensive were adequate. The room was well equipped and a good size (we stayed in a superior room). The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was really tasty with good choices

  Was upgraded from executive double to executive suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. The decoration and facilities in the room were superb, one of the best rooms that I have ever stayed in.
