Rooms were very comfortable and the staff went of their way to be helpful. We had a two night stay and earlier on the day we were to check in I broke my ankle. The staff went above and beyond being caring and helpful. They brought my breakfast to the room as going up and down stairs was difficult. They spoke with the British Red Cross and helped us get a wheelchair to use during the rest of our visit in Wales. The facility itself was very nice - an older building with lots of character. The proprietors of the hotel were friendly, helpful and pleasant; the food was excellent, as was the service.
The room was very clean, comfortable and well maintained, with all the facilities we would expect of a 4 star establishment, we would defiantly stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

Recently fully refurbished, very tasteful modern decor. Fantastic large ensuite bathroom, the most comfortable bed that I ever slept in!Brenda & Mike were the perfect hosts, nothing too much trouble.Wonderful full English breakfast,cooked to order. A traditional pub serving excellent food. The batter on my fresh haddock was divine - the best I've ever tasted. The busy restaurant, on two levels, is very popular with locals and no wonder! The refurbished rooms with tasteful décor are modern, clean and comfortable, and well-appointed. You can watch TV in the bath but it's not compulsory! Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. There are only five rooms, so book early!
