  I like the hotel in general, the staff were friendly and they tried to help us regarding to internet issues,we received special treatment ,the receptionist changed the room from floor two to seven with a nice view and also we received a gift (bowl fruits and drinks . the most interesting thing is unlikely of other hotels in Istanbul no one ask us ... wat mensen zeggen » for giving any deposit in check in time,and no rushing for checkout as well. I liked the gym,steam room and the swimming pool very much. - DIVAN Istanbul is perfectly central, 3 minutes walk to Istiklal Caddesi and a 8 minute walk to the Dolmabahçe Palace and Bosphorus. While a hotel in an ideal location is not necessarily a good hotel, this hotel is close to ideal as it is luxurious, affordable with friendly and helpful staff. Made our stay in Istanbul memorable. Moreover, it has a good gymn, indoor swimming pool and a spa.

  I'm very grateful for Mme Elif, she was very proffesional in handling a passport-related situation. The concierge, both Mr Alp and Mr Jim were extremly helpful in providing plans and maps regarding the best in istanbul.   We particularly liked the location and facilities within the hotel - close to the airport, sea and shops. The staff were friendly and gave excellent service. The elevator from 1895 can still run (though not always in use). They sell postcards and other souvenirs about the hotel at the front desk. Really a piece of history! The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

The location by Spanca Lake is an added value for a very relaxing view with a very neat landscape arrangement.   The room was excellent, spacious, clean and very comforting. Staff were friendly and most of all the receptionist Sertac who was extremely friendly and helpful and would go the extra mile to help the guests, I believe all receptionists should be like him. the gardens, sports courts, playgrounds, swimming pools, all were great. My family and I really enjoyed the four days we spent in this resort and I strongly recommend it to whomever is - It was Unforgettable stay in that beautiful village "Sapanca", the nature the weather the food every thing was wonderfull, the staff were so friendly and special thanks to Mr. Maarouf for his cooperation and hospitality.
