  Was a Decent place to stay with large bedroom . Location is excellent and 10 min walking distance from blue mosque grand bazaar Hague Sophia . Breakfast was same all 5 days but then basics were provided . Don't expect much . . However the owner have us a warm welcome . And the reception staff was courteous. Good heated room, super friendly staff (more friendly than in 5 stars hotels!!!!. 3-4 min to shopping area and 4-5 min to good small buffets and stores. Excellent !!!   The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. A safe, quiet and noiseless place, outskirts of the old part of Isrtanbul, close to sea embankment and fish market (2-3 minutes), next to Armenian church and patriarchate (the view from the window is just like here in booking, ask for N9), 10-15 min walk to Small Hagia Sophia (Kucuk Ayasofya... wat mensen zeggen » Camii) and Sokollu Camii - both worth visiting, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. Comfortable and large rooms, large bathroom. If you want to save mon - Very good apartments. Clean rooms with new furniture: beds for adults and a child, wardrobe, table, chairs, etc. Kitchen corner, frige, gas cooker, cups, plates, and utensils.The apartmants are in the old part of Istanbul, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. 5 min to the sea embankment, a fish market and fish restaurants. Frendly personnel fluent in English and Russian (special thanks to Yildiz!). Very well for family tourism.

  Me and my wife were researching for days before reluctantly choosing this place because it had no reviews. Later we found out why -- This is a brand new hotel that literally opened a couple of weeks ago, and the room we (young couple) were staying at was virgin!   I liked most the very helpful manager of the hotel. Not only that he was nice, friendly and helpful in the hotel but also used some of his time to take us to town to help us arrange for a fishing trip, all that without asking for any money. I also liked the breakfast being served at any time in the suite without extra charges. The manager said " y... wat mensen zeggen » ou can have your breakfast anywhere in the hotel at any time you chose, including at night!" The food quality was very good. - It is not that difficult to come around a good hotel but a great one is always difficult to be found. Full time service, real manners, and basically working solely for you comfort. Gladly would recommend anyone to stay here, in this great comfort hotel.

  The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from before starting the holiday with advice about how to move around the city. Istanbul is a huge city, so understanding the transportation system is very important and they were great at that. The rooms were spotless and in excellent condition. The hotel is at the very end of Istiklal street from Taksim, so it is a bit of a 15 min walk from the big plaza (if it can be called that). - Good location, between old city and Taksim square...just in the shopping/restaurant/clubs area! Also I found the reception personnel very available and very client and service oriented, with advises suggestions and really very welcoming. I felt like at home even when staying far away from home.
