We stayed 3 nights in Village Cave House Hotel and had a great time. The building itself was an old cave and our room was historically used as a kitchen. There was even an old fashion oven in the middle of the room- we loved it!! It was very nice and cosy. Also the owner was very helpful and friendly. My son and I enjoyed the environment of Capadoccia but would not have
been able to do so without the help of the staff at Takaev who organised
the balloon trip, tours, transfers and provided us with information
about local sights and facilities. Staff were gentle in their approach,
efficient in their delivery and had a wicked albeit understated sense of
humour. I would have loved to take them with us for the rest of our

Not only were they the helpful about arranging tours, recommending restaurants, even reserving out of town excursions, they were some of the friendliest people we met in Cappadocia. Our stay at the Elysee Hotel was exceptional. My children and I stayed three nights. It's within walking distance of the bus station and about two kilometers from the Göreme Open Air Museum. In the other direction are some other ruins if you prefer something away from most of the tourists. The night and morning managers were the epitome of hospitality--answering questions, giving marvelous recommendations, offering apple tea and just overall being excellent hosts. The rooms were clean & spacious and the bathrooms were very nice. T
