The location of the hotel is superb, right between the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, yet in a quiet side road. Istanbul is a bustling, noisy, crowded place and the hotel was an oasis of calm after hard days sightseeing and haggling in the bazaars.

The location is fantastic - right in the centre of Sultanahmet and easy walking distance to the bazaars, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, cafes and restaurants and the Bosphorus. Beautiful hotel with plenty of history; we stayed in a deluxe room that was so comfortable and quiet with great facilities, views and service. The staff were all really helpful, friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The location is great which is a walking distance from a lot of historical locations and also from the famous Istanbul Bazaar. It's very quite, relaxing and clean. A brand new property with very helpful and genuinely earnest staff. The rate is excellent at the moment too for a hotel of this high quality. Everything! The facilities are simply superb, the staff extremely
friendly, courteous and very helpful. A very relaxed atmosphere. All the
modern conveniences and only a hop, skip and jump to shops, bars,
restaurants and interesting sights by foot or short taxi ride - I would
stay there again and highly recommend the Radisson Blu to anyone seeking
excellent accommodation in Istanbul.

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

Everything. Hotel is amazing and brand new. Definitely it is firm 5 star hotel. I don't know what to name first design, comfort, location or quality of service everything is excellent. Excellent hotel, comfortable and well equiped roomes (even though a bit small), good pool & spa area. Very service oriented staff. Fantastic view from the bar on 19th floor. We were there at the time of the Taksim square demonstrations so traffic-wise it was a bit complicated to get in and out. When one evening an employee gave us some bad taxi recommendation based on which our trip was way longer than necessary, they did everything the next day to make up for it and even provided us transp
