  We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment on 3rd floor between Monday, 27 May to 31 May 2013. The rooms were located at the back of the premises and were well presented. The bathrooms were also very good. We were taken back by the size as it was a large apartment. The kitchen in the apartment also was very large.   The view from top floor!!! The sea at one hand, the blue mosque the other. I had no idea that we were THIS close to the mosque, it was literally across the street. The view was just breathtaking, so surreal. I didn't even care for the poor soundproofing walls or the morning preach that violently woke us up haha (which means how close we were to th... wat mensen zeggen » e mosque). The view is definitely incomparable. - Location - The hotel was very close to the Sultanahmet tourist area, with some gift shops, coffee shops and restaurants right next door. The night manager (I think his name was Usman) was a good guide point to various areas and activities. The hotel itself is rather small, just enough room to put your bags and walk to you bed, but it is what you pay for.

  Since was the first time we visited Istanbul we were looking for a hotel close to the historical center. Altin House hotel was the greatest choice. You can walk to visit the major historical sight-seeings. The rooms of the hotel are clean, comfortable and provides great facilities. It is suitable for any kind of traveler. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent. The neighborhood looked strange at the beginning but afterwards we understood there was nothing to be afraid as it was full of hotels! It's 10-15 minutes walking time from Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque (sultanahmet tram stop). Do not try the cemberlitas tram stop as it is uphill and tiring.
