  This is the eighth time we have stayed at the Grand S. It is our favorite "layover" stop when passing through Istanbul. The location is perfect. The Metro connects the airport to the Buyuk Otogar (main bus staion) just across the highway. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms spotless. On our last visit the air conditioning was down and we ... wat mensen zeggen » left a bit grumpy. They have it working again, so I strongly recommend the Grand S for travelers. We have already booked our next stay there. - All staff at the Hotel were helpful and courteous. I was greeted you arrival and the bellboy made sure I settled into the room by showing me how the tv and wifi worked. Breakfast was a very varied buffet and very enjoyable. Comfortable room with wifi and satellite tv and heating which was lovely as it was snowing outside on my last 2 days. I would stay here again.

  The hotel is located in a small street of a populated area. It is not far from the old city (a 20 minutes’ walk along a main street but the street car stop is close). The lobby is not large but agreeable: a small reception desk, sofas, tables with books, a screen showing international flights arrivals and departures. It was large (27 square meters) with three beds (one queen size), carpeted floor, two armchairs with a sm - The hotel staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. The hotel upon request had also arranged transfers to and back to the airport which was also very handy. Main tourist attractions were not that far from the hotel around 15min walk or 5-10min on the tram. Last but not least I had forgotton some money in the hotel when I checked out. De ligging van de hotel was goed - It's the 2nd time we stayed just only for one night and the staff always welcomed us very friendly, the rooms are big and bathroom too and are quiet. The location is quite good, 10min walk from the Grand Bazar.
