  WOW! After travelling Europe for a month and to finish our trip at Istanbul Gonen Hotel was an experience, if we could we would have extended our stay. The reception we received even in the early hours of the morning was courteous and friendly, at last no language barrier. The breakfast was excellent, variety. Room clean and shower spacious. After... wat mensen zeggen » a bad experience with a taxi driver, the staff could not do enough to make up for it. Fantastic staff!!! - Excellent hotel, the rooms are new, very clean and I like so much the design of the bathroom with a full a big glass window (with courtain) between shower and bedroom. It's close to the airport (5 minutes by taxi), as I arrived very late at night, I choose this hotel for the excellent rate and the quality of the rooms and it was better than what I expected. I recommend it!

  Much nicer than expected, considering it has the word 'hostel' in the name -- it seemed more like a hotel! It was also quite uniquely decorated. The hostel was an excellent price for something close to the airport, since one of us had to arrive late and leave early. The staff were helpful in directing us to public transportation and in securing a ... wat mensen zeggen » taxi. There is a desktop computer with internet you can use for free in the lobby. There is a bus a few blocks away that goes straight to the closest - Convenient location close to airport, although you need to take a taxi to get there (about 12-15 Lira unless taxi driver rips you off - which he usually tries). Contrary to what a lot of people wrote, the noise by airplanes is not very strong. Indeed it is almost below the flightpath, but the windows are very well isolated, and as I am living below a flightpath myself, I can assure you that noise level in this hostel is way below.

  We booked this hotel at the end of our trip, before flying out of Ataturk. We didn't have enough time to go into the city, so we just booked a hotel close to the airport. It's 15 min away (10 euros, or 20-22.5 turkish liras) by taxi. The room we got (on the 9th floor) was fantastic. Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom. They even brought a fruit p... wat mensen zeggen » late. And had plenty of coffee and tea to choose from. The staff was very friendly. There is a spa (not free obviously) and exercise (i'm assuming fre - Titanic Hotel chain is one of the best Hotel in Turkey. In Titanic Bakirkoy, from check in to the check out everthing was well prepared like other Titanic Hotels. My first experince with Titanic hotels was in Taksim several years ago. Since then, nothing changed. I was really appreciated at that time.I believe many European countries do not have such a management. From cleaning staff till high level of manager, thank you very much for everybody in the group.

  We particularly liked the location and facilities within the hotel - close to the airport, sea and shops. The staff were friendly and gave excellent service. The room was spacious with panoramic sea views. Breakfast selection was first class and the trendy bar was friendly. Lobby entertainment with the piano was enjoyable. Having stayed in various hotels in Istanbul this was the best so far. - The hotel is amazing, perfect view, Nice and helpful staff. Very good options for a club room! The size of the room was very good- with a sofa and a desk, big bathroom. The area around the hotel - very nice marina, good and famous restaurant Gilik, next to a big shopping mall and very easy access to the other places.
