The people there have a great value for money and are very flexible, putting you a personal package together.   The facilites are fantastic in the main building, however if you have a room in the corner wing you need to be aware that there is no gym or swimming pool - although it only takes 5 minutes to get from one to the other this can be very inconvinient as it involves going outside... not great if you're in your boardies. After speaking to the manager (by this time it was 1am so credit to him for calling me back) I was upgraded - I like the design and architecture of the hotel. The rooms are stylish equipped. The swimming-pool area is very nice. But it's in another building. You have to go out, turn left and walk 10 meters along the street and enter the other building and go up to the 9th floor. The breakfast is good for the price.

  The location for getting around Bangkok is hard to beat. Very convenient to light rail to downtown walking through mall with least outdoor walking in heat/humidity. The comfort of the room, the fantastic view (I was on 26th floor) the furnishings and space in the room(very pleasant) these were all great. Staff was very friendly and helpful (wakeup... wat mensen zeggen » call for early morning departure to airport was right on time). I had a very quick check-in - no problem using letsbookhotel.com to make the reservat - Emporium was the first place I stayed in Thailand. When you arrived you were greeted by gentlemen opening doors, collecting bags etc. The staff were very helpful. The swimming pool / gym area was fabulous. Night lights were impressive. Access to sky train was only minutes away. If you needed a taxi, the gentleman out the front hailed one for you. No noise in rooms at all, very quiet. It felt very luxurious to stay there.

Recommended to anyone who likes a good hotel.

I arrived 3 hours earlier than check in time but was still allowed to go to my room which was great after a long night flight this was welcome.
