  The hotel is very nice and the rooms were very modern and spacious. The staff was excellent, always smiling and willing to assist me with any need. I did not try the restaurant since I was always out but it seem to have a lot of action, so I would presume it was good. The location was key for me and it was excellent. Most of th - This was recommended by my cousin and boy was he right. Key positives include: very cordial staff, english speaking, the place is extremely clean and modern. Best of all it is very centrally located and there is no other hotel where the tube station exit is at its doorstep. The rooms were very quiet during the night. I would personally make sure i stay there whenever i go to BKK. For those who bank with Citi, well, there is a Citi branch right next door too. P.S. one of the days it was raining

  I stay in this hotel almostevery time I have to be in Bangkok. The few times I went to another hotel never matched mt stay in Citadines 23. I really like the "serviced apartments" concept. I hardly ever go out for dinner to a restaurant: I just go to he food court of nearby Terminal 21 and pick up a nice meal for next to nothing (150 baht will fee... wat mensen zeggen » d you like a king). - Pretty nice for the money, location close to subway and monorail. Pool on roof great, room and facilities quite good. Very clean and fully eqpted kitchen. I am back here today for the second time after a visit to Cambodia, they were happy to store my luggage. All in all very nice place

The location was pretty convenient as well and having a shuttle to take us to the nearest BTS stop was definitely a plus.

  Clean and nice budget hotel right next to the train station. I would stay here again if I where taking the train the next day, only a 5 min walk to the station (you can walk underground in the metro tunnel instead of crossing the busy road). It is also right in front of the metro stop so very convenient. Rooms are basic but clean. The service level in the restaraunt was always friendly, and professional. Food was fantastic & well priced.   Staff were friendly and attentive, and room was spotlessly clean. Shower head was broken, but they sent someone up to fix it immediately. Pool and tanning area were a bit smaller than expected from the pictures, but it was totally adequate to take a dip to cool off. Had the pool to ourselves most of the time.   We booked 4 nights in Amber Hotel. Arrived in Amber Hotel on 19th September, we were told the hotel was overbooked and we were asked to move in to other hotel for the first night. The staff from Amber hotel promised to upgrade our room for the rest of our stay. The Hotel we moved in was horrible. The first night in Amber, air-condition was not working, staff - The staff is amazing and very helpful. The hotel is such a great value for money in terms of comfortability, cleanliness and facilities. It is also a new hotel with great design. The location is fair, about 700 meters to the nearest BTS Chong Nonsi (approximately 10 minutes walk). However, the heat of the day in Bangkok makes it feel like miles away from the sky train, let alone the busy traffic all the time of the day.   A very nice hotel. The location was very good - in the heart of Sukhumvit close to the metro. The room was spacious and the breakfast really nice. Located on Sukhumvit soi 33 with bars around and plenty of street food stands. Definetely a good choice fo a short stay in bkk and very good relation proce/quality.
