  The hotel is very nice and the rooms were very modern and spacious. The staff was excellent, always smiling and willing to assist me with any need. I did not try the restaurant since I was always out but it seem to have a lot of action, so I would presume it was good. The location was key for me and it was excellent. Most of th - This was recommended by my cousin and boy was he right. Key positives include: very cordial staff, english speaking, the place is extremely clean and modern. Best of all it is very centrally located and there is no other hotel where the tube station exit is at its doorstep. The rooms were very quiet during the night. I would personally make sure i stay there whenever i go to BKK. For those who bank with Citi, well, there is a Citi branch right next door too. P.S. one of the days it was raining

The location was pretty convenient as well and having a shuttle to take us to the nearest BTS stop was definitely a plus.

I would stay here again if I where taking the train the next day, only a 5 min walk to the station (you can walk underground in the metro tunnel instead of crossing the busy road). It is also right in front of the metro stop so very convenient. Rooms are basic but clean. G - Friendly, tall reception lady went out of her way on various occasions to help us, because of this our trip to Thailand was made easier & more enjoyable, so thank you very much! The service level in the restaraunt was always friendly, and professional. Food was fantastic & well priced. I felt secured with the 24 hour reception and elevator only be room key operation. Room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Internet worked well. Very friendly staff, when I arrived from Phuket on my way to catch my flight bac - We were staying in Unico just for 1 night, but liked hotel very much. The hotel itself is brand new (just about 8-9 months since opening) with absolutely clean and comfy business style rooms equipped with everything you may need during short stay in BKK. Pool and tanning area were a bit smaller than expected from the pictures, but it was totally adequate to take a dip to cool off. Had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Decent cafe next door and a supermarket which is just 2 mins walk. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is well equipped for basic cooking.

  We booked 4 nights in Amber Hotel. Arrived in Amber Hotel on 19th September, we were told the hotel was overbooked and we were asked to move in to other hotel for the first night. The staff from Amber hotel promised to upgrade our room for the rest of our stay. The Hotel we moved in was horrible. The first night in Amber, air-condition was not working, staff - The staff is amazing and very helpful. The hotel is such a great value for money in terms of comfortability, cleanliness and facilities. It is also a new hotel with great design. The location is fair, about 700 meters to the nearest BTS Chong Nonsi (approximately 10 minutes walk). However, the heat of the day in Bangkok makes it feel like miles away from the sky train, let alone the busy traffic all the time of the day.   A very nice hotel. The location was very good - in the heart of Sukhumvit close to the metro. The room was spacious and the breakfast really nice. Located on Sukhumvit soi 33 with bars around and plenty of street food stands. Definetely a good choice fo a short stay in bkk and very good relation proce/quality.
