  We read a lot of bad reviews about the staff at sunrise and decided to take it anyway. They couldn't be any nicer too us! Friendly helpful and were literally running to take care of our needs. Located on the most amazing beach I've see in Thailand and had a nice pool with poolside bar. Restaurant was good too.   The family that runs the bungalows is excellent. When I arrived, it was incredibly hot, and I was given a free water while I checked in. The room that I stayed in was fairly basic, but I had everything I needed. Very close to the beach for the Full Moon Party, so I could easily stumble there on my way home. The coffee at the local coffee shop is a... wat mensen zeggen » mazing, some of the best cappuccinos that I have had while in Thailand, as well as great simple breakfasts. Very happy with my stay there and would re - Small bungalow with bathroom ensuit, basic but you got all you need. Clean, good bed, aircon and fan. Very quiet. Laundry service at reception. The reception guy is very friendly and helpful. And price is also good.

Especially Au a lovely guy from Birma, he even took me on his bike to get ticket and didnt want anything for it! The Birmese Staff is worth gold in this resort! I can't wait to come back to this place! - The staff were very friendly and polite. The beach and surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. A great place to see the sunset. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the main area or you can hire a motorbike for 150 baht a day. The room was fairly good value for money as it was clean and well looked after. The free wifi worked well (in the room and even on the beach). I'd certainly stay there again upon my next visit to the island.
