We were looking for accommodation close to the "slow boat" to Luang Probang. 100 metres to the Thai immigration office. You cant get much closer. If you are not after 5 star, just a convenient bed and shower, you can't go past "Portside" There is plenty of cafe's and restaurants just down the road as well. Facilities were in good order & good value. Roof garden with views across to Laos was enjoyable & appreciated. Excellent position at the port to & from Laos & Thailand.
