  The staff was very helpful and friendly. Charlie speaks perfect English, which is also helpful. The hotel was off of the main road but very quietly recessed. It's far enough from the very touristy area to feel authentic (and is cheaper) but you will need a 25 minute walk or 50 baht for a tuk tuk. Had immediate hot water, free wifi and a solid A/C ... wat mensen zeggen » unit. For the price, it is a great value. - Charlie and Jeab are perfect hosts! We felt really welcome, they helped us with anything. Room is big and clean. Great shower. Good wifi. Location is also very good. Far from the noise but still close enough to the beach. Dvd's at reception is also a big plus. Thank you for everything! We recommend everybody to stay at Baan Taveesri.

  What can we say that hasn't been said in previous reviews. One thing we do not usually expect from a holiday resort is intimacy and personal treatment. These two aspects are what make Baan Habeebee simply a perfect place to relax and enjoy the "real" pleasures of Thailand - peace, tranquility and attention to detail. When we mentioned in our ear - The fact that we could relax was, to us, a major issue. The pool was well maintained as were the gardens and surrounds. Our host Ming, was excellent in everything she did, her omelettes for breakfast were very enjoyable. The resort, tho small, was for us big enough and just far enough out of town so that we would not be affected by noise but close enough for a short lift into town by their free transport. All things said we had a most enjoyable holiday, our thanks to MING AND DAN(our transport

  The staff was extremely helpful with every need. I am disabled and travel with a medium sized Service Dog. This is unusual in Thailand, but they were wonderful. When I lost my camera. They found it and brought it to me, even though there was no longer room available for me at their hotel.

  The owner/manager is awesome! He was friendly from the first moment and has a wealth of knowledge and advice. He speaks fluent English and knows the western culture enough to anticipate needs. We also liked that the bungalows were set far enough from the road that it was quiet and offered a nice clean jungle type setting that was close enough to A... wat mensen zeggen » onang beach, the restaurants and bars. The family restaurant was also cheap and located next door. One stop shop also has very reasonably priced to - Ismail is a great host. The Bungalow is very close to the beach and some great local restaurants. It's also quiet at night. The bungalow itself is pretty basic - bed, TV, wardrobe, A/C, and fan. The weather was nice enough that a simple fan at night was enough to keep me comfortable. Internet is available (I was able to Skype with family), but it doesn't reach the bungalow I stayed in. I definitely recommend a stay here.

Close to the shops and some excellent restaurants at very reasonable prices. Very helpful tour organiser and close to treakking, snorkelling and the islands.   We walked into Peace by chance and were delighted to have found such a lovely place. Staff were helpful, location almost perfect, our detached bungalow was wonderful, breakfast a delight and meals plentiful and inexpensive. They even have a "Water Monitor" which we nicknamed Malcolm.
