  It's very conveniently located for the Sunnegga/Rothorn funicular and Gornergrat train. The staff were very kind and helpful to my elderly parents. Excellent buffet breakfast - really very good for this category of hotel. The pine bar area and restaurant are simply and attractively styled. The train station is close but nevert - We loved the hotel and the location. The staff was very friendly and unquestionably efficient. The spa was first rate with an amazing pool, Jacuzzi and a northern style sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed this aspect. We made full use of the kitchen facility since we were a couple with 6 (hungry!)college age kids. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen.   The staff in the Arcare building were very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning and maintenance were punctual and efficient. Front desk staff were very helpful. Restaurant was good and waiting staff friendly and attentive. Hotel bar was good for meeting and chatting with other guests with a very nice and friendly barman in charge. A 5 minute walk to rent skis/sports shop, and another 5 minutes to the Sunneggabahn funicul - 1 min walking distance from train station. Spacious room with a couzy sofa and an armchair, huge balcony for a five o'clock tea; nicely designed bathroom with a window. Slippers/bath gown. Swmming pool, sauna, solarium - all very nice.

Good choice of food at breakfast each morning.   Zermatt was the first place we visited in Switzerland and it was the best experience we had in Swiss. The hotel is 10 mins walk from the station and we were very tired as we were travelled to Zermatt from Paris and also we had lot of luggage to carry from Station to hotel. They even made a special Black Forest Gateau for my birthday evening ,which was made a magical occasion by the excellent meal presented beautifully by the staff. - Very friendly and welcome stuff. They were kind enough to provide me with full information on train schedule and timing from Visp to Zermatt (that was very helpful indeed). The hotel itself is designed in a modern and very comfortable style. Staff were so professional and showed support all time.
