You get off the little train at a request stop and walk a mountain path for about 10 minutes to the chalet. It's traditional old style and the view has onto the Jungfrau has to be seen to be believed. Beautiful! Would go back tomorrow!.
Fantastic views across to Wengen and down valley to Lauterbrunnen. Traditional wooden chalet. Found some exquisite wild flowers.
Relatively expensive taxi from Wengen rail station to the chalet (25 euros) which was necessary when arriving and departing as it would have been difficult to carry heavy bags along the rough track from Wengwald rail station (around 10 minute walk). alle beoordelingen »
