  Warm, comfortable, spacious interiors and rooms throughout the building. Wide stairways, large lifts - the library area with coffee machine and lounge room would serve well in winter time. HIgh quality fitted rooms and bathrooms - ours had an amazing balcony terrace overlooking the mountains. The fridge in room was a plus but no tea or coffee in... wat mensen zeggen » room. The bed & bed linen (doonas / pillows) so comfortable. Friendly greetings everyday from staff. Hot breakfast was plentiful and served in ar - Rooms amazingly large, comfortable beds and linen, laundry facilities fantastic, great location with alps directly opposite the hotel. Food excellent, staff excellent. Waiter spoke 5 languages fluently and was extremely courteous and helpful. Owner Manager extremely friendly and helpful too. Parking easy, close to Mt Titlis and cable cars. Lifts a plus and huge balconies overlooking the mountains. Would highly recommend it.

  Vriendelijke eigenaren, gerenoveerd hotel, erg netjes en ziet er nieuw uit. Gratis wifi en een sauna. Prima bedden en nette badkamer. Prima ontbijt en mooie lobby ruimte. - I enjoyed every single second of my stay at this hotel. The hotel staff (especially the receptionist) were very helpful and attentive. They acknowledged that I am lacto intole... wat mensen zeggen » rant, and provided lacto free yoghurt, milk and butter. Our room was small but very comfortable. I also enjoyed the launch area which was full of books, magazines and tourism info about Engelberg. From 3pm to 6pm all guests could enjoy complimentary tea and coffee in the hotel launch. The atmosphere of the hotel is very re - We stayed at the Spannort for two incredible nights. The location is perfect for any activity (hikes, strolls around lovely Angelberg, or sight seeing/ main local attractions - such as Mount Titlis). The design and ambiance were truly relaxing, the staff was extremely hospitable and helpful (thank you Stefen). There was wi-fi, parking, a lovely breakfast, cosy lounge area - basically, anything and everything you need for a perfect holiday or a business trip.

  Hotel Edelweiss was fantastic. We were met at the train station by Suzanne, owner, and taken to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and very happy people. Peter, owner, Monika & Tanja were always willing to help and always ready for a chat. Peter introduced us to the town and welcomed us personally to the hotel with free pre-dinner drin... wat mensen zeggen » ks. They always made us welcome. The hotel is set in the valley between magnificient mountain views. The town is quiet and calming. So much to do - If in Engelberg, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It's not only for the warmth shown by the owners (Kuhn family), its a kids friendly hotel. It is less than 10 mins walk from the station, but with luggage it is not possible to walk (steep roads).... the staff is ever ready to escort to / from the station in their vans (they just need to be informed). A nice view from the balconies + the church bell sound every hour, gives a superb feeling............

  It is a very nice Hotel with a beautiful panorama of the Engelberg. Personal was top and the service also. For sure i will book again when ill plan a trip in Engelberg :-). If u choose Bänklialp you make a good choise. - atmosphere, breakfast, nice staff that was willing to answer all questions we had.

  I am never this generous with my comments but, actually everything! I had a fantastic time last weekend. I am sure all the staff are good but most of my dealings happened to be with Heidi, she was friendly and professional, gave us correct information and was helpful with any of our needs; she has a charming personality. Paula, the masseuse, is ve... wat mensen zeggen » ry good and when asked, acted on my wishes. And having a glass of bubbly in the Jacuzzi on the terrace under the stars, was lush! The jacuzzi is proba - Young reception and breakfast staff were so lovely. We were on the top floor in a lovely timber-lined room and we could hear cow bells from the balcony. Views of the mountains. Lift only went to the floor below so we had to climb a set of stairs with suitcases to get to the room. Free parking at the back of the hotel was great. My husband and daughter went up the cable car to the top of the mountain.
