  The best ratio price/quality for the hotel what I've ever been through. Quality is their passion - that's true. I was surprised that is so perfect feeling on so high location as 1853 m. Samnaun / Ischgl - is one of the best in the Alps. Duty free zone with a lot of shops of very good watches / jewellery.

  Hotel des Alpes is a very good vfm, comfy, relaxed, friendly, welcoming, family-fun hotel - a good 3* hotel. We paid c.£80 for one night in a double bedroom, single occupancy in each, with a big, good, all you can eat brekky: cereals, breads, yoghurts, meats and cheese. Hotel has a car-park for c.30 cars underground. It cost us c.£15 for one night... wat mensen zeggen » . Location is good: it is in Flims Waldhaus. About 10 minutes on free ski bus to the main lifts at bottom of pistes in Flims and Laax. 2 minutes' walk - Very nice personell,good breakfast and internet.Ski bus just around the corner ,takes ca.3 mins to the gondola station.Have not used in house restaurant but it looks very inviting.Wellness facilities proper for 3 stars,warm water in the pool.

  Loved just about everything. The location is amazing. The apartments are beautifully furnished with high-quality fittings. The view from the balcony, of the mountains, was breath-taking! And the sauna/wellness room... that was a real treat. - The hotel located in the mountains with beautiful view and the staff was very kind and helpful.

  Modern hotel/hostel, excellent value for money for what you get. Most rooms are simple hotel rooms (with small kitchen - fridge/sink/stove) - also has dorms for groups. Caters for sports and outdoor activities - lots of storage for bikes, skis, etc. But perfect for anyone who wants the Engadin location without the St.Moritz prices. Free bus/train/... wat mensen zeggen » lift pass for a 2-day stay is a plus - station and bus stop within 5 minute walk. Style is very severe (concrete), but comfortable, warm and clean - Staff were were very helpful and forthcoming is providing the necessary information. No hassles with the parking. The engandine pass that you get by staying here for 2+ nights is pretty usefull. It covers the public transport. Plus you pay nothing for the mountain lifts. The rooms are very practical and functional. The opening to terrace was a great thing. Helps to have a dinner on the terrace. For an activity oriented and self catering trip this is a great place to put up.
