  The owners of Axalp Mr.Peter and his family are the best part for choosing this mountaintop,nature friendly hotel.we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.We cooked everyday here .and can surely say that one can not find any better equipped hotel kitchen than this.Our kids loved this log house feel of the hotel. Mr. Peter and his family are great host... wat mensen zeggen » s and he can help you make the most of your trip.The amazing Geissbach falls are only at 10 min driving distance from the hotel and the beautiful lake - We stayed for 5 nights at Barghuus Axalp and had a woderful time. Peter and Michaela are great hosts and this place is true value for money. Not luxurious but clean, comfortable bunk beds, decent bathroom and common facility to cook eg. A microwave, a fridge, owners shop nearby with most of things you might need. Excellant surroundings to feel the swiss hill village life. There are not many people as most houses are holiday homes. Peter loves to talk and is a great company. Happy that we chose
