  I really enjoyed my stay at Edelweiss hotel. Firstly is situated in the delightful town of Wengen - in the heart of the Jungfrau. The town has spectacular views of the mountains, which was quite breathtaking as I made the short walk from the train station to the hotel. I received a very warm welcome from the staff, and was shown to my room whi... wat mensen zeggen » ch had everything I needed. I was travelling solo at the time, and the room contained a comfortable single bed, a Study desk and a cute little bathroo - Daniel, the hotel manager was simply the most hospitable person ever! My wife and I unfortunately did not pack any winter clothes and we happenned to arrive during their first snow in over 30 years. Daniel let us borrow some of us winter clothes for our stay which saved us and allowed us to enjoy all that this beautiful area had to offer. He spent some time when we first arrived, giving us a tour of the property and explaining how all of the trains/aerial cable cars worked. It really felt like

  Nice hotel on top of a pub. Good friendly staff. Breakfast is good and is served in the pub. Decent sized room with tea/coffee making facilities. Walking distance to both Interlaken Ost and West stations. However we used buses to go to the station and back as they stopped right in front of the hotel (both ways), and the hotel gives all guests fre... wat mensen zeggen » e bus passes for the duration of stay. Had dinner once at the pub and it was good :) - Best hotel ever!!! Although it is a little far from train station, it has a great view of the mountains and very quite neighborhood. There is a nice bar at the first floor. The beer they offered is quite good. Employees are very nice. I said I would catch the first train to Jungenfraujoch, they even offer me a packed breakfast. Very nice ! Thank you!

  the view from our balcony was stunning. the room though small was really neat and kept well for the guests. there is a restaurant in the hotel, and served good food too. outside hotels there are lots of shops and restaurants, if u just want to explore grindelwald this is a perfect place, and its a value for money too. the hotel is 5mins walking f... wat mensen zeggen » rom the Grindelwald train station. but make sure u arrive before 11am at night or there is no more train from interlaken to Grindelwald. the taxi will - We loved the location, just across from the station and central to everything. As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin. Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly. Big bonus, it has an elevator.

The staff are all excellent, friendly and helpful and really made our stay even better. I like the fact that Hotel Caprice is not a large hotel because the service feels much more personal. We appreciated the privacy and quietness of the surroundings - The staff is exemplary and the views are stunning. Annamarie and Justin are engaging and accommodating hosts while Carlos looks after every detail in the dining room. The hotel offers very easy access to the Kleine Scheidegg and the Jungfraujoch and has the most incredible views of the Jungfrau and the waterfalls along the Lauterbrunnen Valley walls. Very highly recommended.

  Service at the Jungfrau Hotel was exceptional. Email correspondence was prompt and courteous. Late check in was processed smoothly. Easy access to Interlaken city centre. The food was very good ( both Breakfast and Dinner, and we are vegetarians ). The staff also help organise our activities such as Paragliding and Canyon Jumping . I would strongly recommend The Jungfrau Hotel and its excellent staff - We loved everything about the hotel.It was the most relaxing break, all staff were so helpful and friendly. We had our dog with us and he was made very welcome. It is in a peaceful village and so very close to the Railway station so it was easy to access all that the region offers. We are already checking our dates to book again for next year! A wonderful hotel!

  Staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel is at walking distance from "downtown" and at a 5 minutes drive from the ski lift.   We loved our room, clean, basic necessities, fantastic view. We had a mountain view, corner room with surrounding balcony. We could not have asked for better. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from town. If you arrive by train you can call the hotel and they will pick you up. We took the nearby bus to town when we could. We walked home from dinner eve... wat mensen zeggen » ry night and enjoyed the walk - The hotel is run by a very friendly elderly couple. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Super nice. The lady of the house speaks excellent english. Skibus just on the corner, otherwise just drive down 5 min to the big parking at the lift and pay 5 CHF for the whole day.

  A nice friendly hotel with an excellent breakfast and good selection for dinner. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the farm yard next door. Every night we sipped wine while we watched the animals interact. It was great fun. The free town bus stops within a block of the hotel so getting around Kandersteg was convenient. We will certainly ... wat mensen zeggen » stay there next time we visit Kandersteg. - I took a dorm bed (backpacker) and was very pleased with the accommodation. The owner prepared a very early breakfast especially for me, as I needed to go early, which was really nice.
