  Nice hotel on top of a pub. Good friendly staff. Breakfast is good and is served in the pub. Decent sized room with tea/coffee making facilities. Walking distance to both Interlaken Ost and West stations. Had dinner once at the pub and it was good :) - Best hotel ever!!! Although it is a little far from train station, it has a great view of the mountains and very quite neighborhood. There is a nice bar at the first floor. The beer they offered is quite good. Employees are very nice. I said I would catch the first train to Jungenfraujoch, they even offer me a packed breakfast.   the view from our balcony was stunning. the room though small was really neat and kept well for the guests. there is a restaurant in the hotel, and served good food too. outside hotels there are lots of shops and restaurants, if u just want to explore grindelwald this is a perfect place, and its a value for money too. the hotel is 5mins walking f... wat mensen zeggen » rom the Grindelwald train station. but make sure u arrive before 11am at night or there is no more train from interlaken to Grindelwald. the taxi will - We loved the location, just across from the station and central to everything. As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin. Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly. Big bonus, it has an elevator.

  My husband & I stayed with Fritz & Gabi in June for a week. The chalets are beautifully decorated and well equipped. It is just on the edge of Wilderswil away from the main road but within easy walking distance of the centre and train station, it's a perfect base for exploring the Jungfrau region. Gabi is a great cook and breakfast was - Gabi and Fritz are very nice people, very friendly and helpful. We have planned our 2 days according to suggestions by Fritz and it turned out to be 2 perfect days for us. Fritz also tried to book a ski course for us which we have highly benefited. Building and room is pretty new, very clean and comfortable. Location is also very convenient, close to Interlaken, close to mountains, ski areas and to railway station.
