  this is probably the best hotel in basel. room and bathroom are spacious. the river view room is magnificent. restaurants offer great food. staff are well experienced and helpful. everything is just beautiful. - The quiet. The view of the river. The location in old town and next to tram stop. The gourmet restaurant.

  Everything !. I forgot some clothes which I thought I'll never see again. I called the Basel from Zermatt and they told me that they were . I asked them to send them on and to charge me. On arrival in st.moritz I found my clothes(shipped overnight express,) with a warm note and at no charge ! The Basel delivered over and above. If we ever return to - Good location; stayed for 2 nights to visit Christmas Market. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to key markets, museums, and room came with public transport pass. We had two good meals at the restaurant and found the breakfast typical of a good European hotel. I don't know where the others ate. Excellent coffee served with warm milk.

  Hotel was clean and modern with good sized rooms and excellent bathroom/shower. I liked the fridge in the bedroom as I could store snacks and drinks for two small kids - also the coffee section in the reception was useful. My son liked the billiards and table football ! The car park was convenient as was the Stucki shopping mall. We also liked t... wat mensen zeggen » he steak restaurant attached to the hotel. - This is a very clean and comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. It is about 20 minutes tram ride to Basel. For my liking the hotel bar could do with not closing at midnight. There is a good free Tea/Coffee making machine in the hotel lobby. I believe that this is a good hotel to stay at for both business and leisure, we would stay here again.

  It was a fantastic stay with this Hostel..clean.. lovely food.. quit with excellent scenery out side and great atmosphere inside... Staff was very friendly from reception to Buffet staff..accessible to public transport specially to Train Main Station.so guy if you going to Basel Switzerland please pick and booked to this place i can guarantee a 1... wat mensen zeggen » 00% satisfaction... looking forward to stay in the future i am back to Swiss land - I had my passport nicked while at a bathhouse. The staff at the reception were very helpful and put up well with a panicked traveler. The babbling brook right outside is a very nice touch. Breakfast is good. Nice bread, nice cheeses, yogurt, cereals, coffee is gratis in the morning. Overall, it's a very nice hostel though only a hostel which are generally only as good as the guests who are present.

  I liked everything about this hotel. The staff were welcoming and supremely friendly. The hotel has a simple charm, with curving staircases to the rooms, with water and tea bars and internet stations on each landing. The rooms are simple enough but comfortable. The hotel also has a great restaurant for the evenings. My room was on the city side with many bars and restaurants - Its my 4 th stay in this lovely hotel : nothing to say as I consider it like an excellent place to stay; its in the same time modern and cosy, elegant and relax, location is good and breakfast is for me one of the best in ch!! A high recommended place to stay along the Rhine river !
