  The location was excellent, in the Zurich Old town, very close to shopping, and to Zurich hbf and Landesmuseum. Yet, for this location rather quiet. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Although a city hotel, yet it feels personal. A manager or owner personally appeared in the breakfast room overlooking things, doing whatever needed doing and... wat mensen zeggen » talking to guests. The room was tiny, yet it felt small and cozy rather than cramped, the'd made their best of the available space. Interesting old t - The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable. The free wifi was a real bonus as was the complimentary tea and coffee in the reception area. The breakfast room was beautiful and the service very good. The location was fantastic and thankfully the hotel is on the quieter side of the old quarter which meant that one wasn't disturbed by people coming out of the bars and cafés late at night.

  Staff was very nice and polite. - As we were a large party over for the ironman competition, I couldnt have asked for a better reception. The staff were so accomodating, going as far as making cheese sandwiches after the ironman when all the local restaurants were closed so the athletes did not have to walk far. Being an early riser it was a pleasure to be able to have real coffee first thing in the morning.   We heard about this hotel from friends. They talked nicely of it so we went there, but not well enough as they DEFINITELY exceeded our expectations. Excellent position as it is near to everything. The personnel is very kind and accomodating. We were given such a warm welcome. When we got to Zurich my girlfriend who was very ill the whole day and t... wat mensen zeggen » hroughout our train trip to Zurich was given every comfort she needed and every whim asked she for. She was really very ill and they "cuddled" her. Th - Great room - very cosy and warm with attractive furniture and the feel of staying in a friend's house, rather than an anonymous hotel room; a lovely place in which to relax. I slept so well in the large, comfy bed, and loved the cosy window seat overlooking the street below. Cute little shower room with Molton Brown goodies! Very friendly and helpful staff, and an absolutely fantastic location right next to the main Zurich train station. Will definitely book again and will recommend to others.
