Villa Mathesis is situated on the side of a steep coastal hill from where there are spectacular and soul-soothing views over the rolling Atlantic, with sandy beach and rocks in the foreground and - Great place with impressive architecture and stunning view over the Atlantic. The heated infinity pool, comfortable bedrooms, delicious home-made breakfast as well as the attentive and welcoming hospitality made our stay absolutely perfect and unique. Thanks to the owners for turning this former private residence into a guest-house.

  So lovely modern and exceptionally clean hotel. Good value with friendly staff. Three star so don't expect laundry pool towels and room service which we didn't. Could not fault the hotel great position and value for money in lovely resort close to wonderful beach and great restaurants and tapas bars - The location is perfect; two minutes walk fro... wat mensen zeggen » m the beach. The beach itself is wonderful. Our room had a terrace which we could use to access the pool, nice and relaxing (other than the birds who quickly learnt when we were having lunch and kept trying to steal the food!). Would recommend to all.

  We have stayed at this hotel for 6 of the last 8 years and found it to be consistently good value and in a good location for the beach (which is ideal for sunbathing but the sea is usually a bit too rough unless you are a strong swimmer) - Perfect place! Personel was friendly and helpful - we even got a better room than we booked. I highly recommend this hotel!

  We were with group of 6 friends and We really enjoy Hotel and beach and Zahara. Good place for relax and for some water sports - The location of the hotel is amazing. It is right on the beach. The room with the sea view has a great balcony.

  Great location. Free on street parking, though if there was no space there is secure underground parking as well (though this is extra) Really friendly staff. Small but perfectly adequate room. We had a room at the back that was totally in the shade, which for us was perfect! It also meant we didnt have to use the aircon, so double bonus!Good br... wat mensen zeggen » eakfast, tostada, pastries, fresh fruit, orange juice etc. We would definitely stay here again. - The location was wonderful being basically on the beach and easy walking distance to the centre. Nice breakfast with sea view and wonderful gazpacho. Very friendly hosts who made excellent restaurant recommendations.
