  An exceptional hotel, with meticulous attention to detail. The staff were solicitous, attentive, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and the bathrooms supplied with all that one could wish for in terms of toiletries and other 'necessary' items. I loved this hotel and look forward to more stays there. - Absolutely wonderful! Delightful decoration and attention to detail which gave an almost mythical charm to the hotel.   Hotel Albares is tucked into a popular plaza in downtown Vielha. The Aranese family who owns the establishment (and lives there) is warm and welcoming and does their very best to make you feel like you've been invited as a guest into their home as opposed to just renting a hotel room. The Internet is fast but only works well in the lobby, although, like I said, - Friendly and helpful staff, excellent deal with breakfast (which had a lot of choice). We had a mini suite which was spacious and comfortable. Hotel located in centre of town and very convenient for bars, shops and restaurants.
