Pension Alameda is family owned. The whole family is very willing to help. Some have limited English. The room is clean. As other have commented it is a bit noisy. But then you are based at the square which is full of life in the weekends. It didn't disturb me, but I imagine it might be a but noisier in the high season. Good value for money. Some say it is 10 minutes to the cathedral. You might be running, then? I'd say it is a good 15 minute walk if not 20. But very doable. Nice little streets.

This place is located at Alameda de Hercules which is one of the most post popular places in Sevilla. If you like walking you can easily start your city tour from this place. You can easily reach to the river side and continue to your walk throughout the river. Or you may go from the inside of the city and see the city life. There are good restaurants, cafes, bars&pubs around the place. You can come to the place by bus from the train station. If you get the bus 33 it only takes 15 minutes w. Small but comfortable, ideal for the traveller on a budget! Clean toilet, and well-lit room, which was made up every day. The busy and easy-to-find Alameda de Hercules is right outside, providing plenty of options for food and drink (this does mean that the 'tourist center' of town is a good 15 minute walk away). As a solo traveller, single use of a twin room was enough space but two people might find it a little tight overall. Loved the location right on a nice plaza with bars and restaurants, and a 10 minute walk into the old part of town. 5 minutes to the river with winderful parks too. Price was amazing for a private room. Good wifi in room, toiletries provided and daily cleaning service - very clean!. Extremely professional and friendly staff. Great position on the Alameda Square. The Alameda Square can get noisy at times - late night parties and such. But the windows are double-pained - which dulls the impact a bit. The room was very hot and the noise from the plaza during the night meant the balcony door needed to be closed, why hasn't Spain discovered ceiling fans! The advertised air conditioning wasn't on during the day and it was 32 and humid. Wifi signal wasn't very reliable in our room on the 2nd floor, so maybe request a room on the 1st floor. Nothing. Nothing. quite small room. Nothing. The lack of air conditioning. There no refrigerator. - aircondition controlled centralized for the whole building. - the operational times & functionality were uncomfortable even at the heart of the summer (too cold to be in the room). - shower not totally isolated from bathroom; small amount of water getting on the floor. the toilet is seperated from my room, a bit inconvinient. Noisy area and staff were noisy early in morning. The air conditioner is not running in the night when you sleep. The size of the room was not as expected. It was very small, about 6 m2. The building was also very noisy and the air-conditioning did make a lot of noise, but you can´t do without. No English speaking staff. Didnt make much problem but might be better to have one. No parking; We were disturbed by the noise during the night from other rooms; actually you can hear almost everything; however the concierge blamed us for the noise; probably he was saying this to everybody; however this made us feel uncomfortable. The walls of the room are thin and you can hear everything from the other rooms. The room was very small. No freezer in the room. The room was very small - too small for two people to comfortably use at the same time. The shower was leaking which caused a part of the floor of the room to get wet. Not so nice when you walk around bare feeted... The sheets were not cleaned properly.
