  The staff, particularly Andy on reception, were amazing. I did, through my own fault, have a problem with my booking but it was sorted without any drama and our room was very good. On a very very cold March day (6 degrees) it was warm with a very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and quiet. The bus which takes you to The Alhambra Palace stop - Great city centre hotel. Stylish and comfortable. Parking was in a public underground car park a few minutes walk away. Hotel offered valet parking service and help with bags. Rooms a high standard with separate bath and shower. Close to centre of city, restaurants, bars and Alhambra. Gin and tonics in the roof top bar were very welcome after long drive.

  The hotel is amazing and the staff are excellent. We arrived during Siesta but the staff had still made it easy for us to get into our room and go and use the pool and allowed us to check in later. It may look a bit far out on the map, but its just up a small hill that we never struggled with. About a 3-4min work to Plaza Nuevo. The views, what ca... wat mensen zeggen » n I say - amazing! Hotel in general is picture worthy and the rooms are great. They even leave the room with tea and coffee, milk and drinks etc which - Have great view of Alhambra. Needs a little uphill walk, but walking is historical district is very nice. Rooms have small snacks, kitchen facilities, which was a plus. Although due to arriving time we didn't meet any staff on arrival date, we got keys, maps, useful local information and recommendations without any difficulties.

  We loved our time at Gran via 44, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the suite itself was top class, clean and beautiful, heaps of room for the whole family, they helped us with parking also which was excellent. We ordered breakfast which was beautiful also. 10/10 from us... and the beds were the best - we have stayed in over 10 hotel... wat mensen zeggen » s so far this trip and these beds were the most comfortable!!!! great lift also! - Our unit was a 2 bedroom apartment that was Clean, Modern and Large! Nice toiletries, fancy toilet, and good shower. Great full kitchen with microwave and basic dishes,etc. Comfortable beds and best pillows. Heated towel bar! Good location and easy cab ride to Alhambra or walk to restaurants and shopping. Safe area on busy street. We were able to store our luggage until our train to Seville. 2 bedroom good for families.

  What a place!!! And what a hotel!!! The room we stayed was perfect. The interior design was outstanding and had a small terrace with a breathtaking view to Alhambra. The breakfast was tasteful and homemade (fresh orange juice and toasted bread with tomatoes). Antonio is a very friendly and helpful host. He organised a pick up service for us from t... wat mensen zeggen » he bus station. The area of Albayzin where the hotel location is, is really beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the three days we spent in this delightfu - Solar Montes Claros was a perfect complete for a magical city Granada. Interior of the place is just lovely! Moroccan style interior and when you look from the window you see beautiful Alhambra just in front of you. And Antonio's hospitality makes you feel you are at home! And with his healthy breakfast all dat you feel great. I would def recommend anyone who would like to have the real feeling of Granada.   The location on the Darro Ruver in Granada is excellent. Fairly flat & easy to move your luggage from Plaza/ taxis to the hotel. Great location for catching bus to the Alhambra; great neighborhood for restaurants and exploring the Albayzin, etc. best feature of the hotel was the 2 hour social sherry hour everyday in the Library. We had some of... wat mensen zeggen » the best conversations of our trip in the library with other guests from Austraila and Germany! - The hotel is charming; beautifully appointed, it feels more like an elegant, real home than a hotel. It is walking distance from the Alhambra and many cafes and shops. The staff were welcoming and helpful and spoke English, which I appreciated. All was very clean and comfortable. The dining room is small but pretty offering a nice selection at breakfast.
