  Super cozy accommodation in the middle of a nice forest. Friendly people and absolutely stunning food. Not sure how they serve the large tortilla because the small one was huge already! Rooms and houses are very stylish and romantic - hard to believe to find all this a couple of minutes drive from buzzing airport. The room was perfect - really comfortable bed, and a sofa and tables at one end of the room, also a large en-suite. The location was beautiful, and utterly quiet - apart from birdsong! We definitely want to return one day...

  This was our first trip to Yigo after many trips to other areas of Spain. We only spent 1 night here which could have been more. The staff and owners are very attentive and helpful. They recommended a restaurant down the way for eating fish and seafood which was very local and had the best seafood ever! The shower in our room was very nice and had easy access. The bed w - Everything. This hotel is wonderfull. The location is perfect, at the apex of the waterfront, the grand avenues and the old city. A beautiful old building completely refurbished, and rooms were well appointed. The owners are very professional and very personable, and attentive to small details. I recomended this hotel to anyone. A 4 star hotel at 3 star prices.

I thoroughly recommend Casa Lucas - you can arrange pick-up from Melide or Arzua. I will return. - Beautiful setting, very peaceful. Small, family-run - e.g. very helpful with offering me a lift back up the hill (land slopes steeply down to the lake). Lovely dog! Good food. Super comfortable bed with lovely linen in characterful old building (original timber rafters etc.), remodelled sensitively.
