  The hotel was well designed. the rooms comfortable. We paid to upgrade from a demi loft suite to the much more costly gold suite which was a fun experience. Staff very helpful and warm natured.   We stayed one night in this nice hotel on our way to Santiago de Compostela in May 2013. We stayed not in the main building but in the yard where the brand new rooms are. Everything was clean and comfortable. Central heating system was working and that was very important since the weather was pretty cold then. Shower cabin has enough space to was ... wat mensen zeggen » and feel well. There is swimming pool in the yard, unfortunately we couldn’t use it because of cold weather. Breakfast was delicious and food plentif - I loved this hotel and made use of the pool and the spa facilities. I could have happily stayed longer than one night. Had a really nice lunch served by a lovely waitress who did not understand us and we did not understand her but we managed to communicate really well! Well done to her!

The tranquil rural setting perfect for a relaxing get-away. - Everything... this was one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in, really friendly owner (and hotel dog!). The room was perfect - really comfortable bed, and a sofa and tables at one end of the room, also a large en-suite. The location was beautiful, and utterly quiet - apart from birdsong! We definitely want to return one day...
