  our first room smelled of tobacco; when we complained they immediately switched us to a better room. The staff was extremely helpful and kind despite not having great language skills. The lobby or lounge was very pleasant to hang out in (and use wifi). - The location is good.

  Absolutely fantastic stay, at one of the best prices in town. Lots of hot water in the shower, spotlessly clean, modern decor. Windows kept out the road noise nicely. - Friendly staff, easy to walk into old city which is definitely worth a visit, modern decor, breakfast was excellent value for money, safe parking under hotel.

  We were there in the off season and virtually had the hotel to ourselves! We felt completely welcome and at home from the moment we arrived until our departure. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, all the staff were attentive and very helpful. Our foods were reflective of the region and skillfully prepared - we enjoyed every bite!   When we say staff excellent this really applies to one girl who went the extra mile every time we came across her, which was all day and night as she seemed to never go home (small girl with red hair) she made our visit so easy and comfortable. When we were having dinner the older gentleman (possibly the owner) was also very nice. Some staff not g... wat mensen zeggen » reat but the girl more than made up for them. She is worth her weight in gold. We were on the camino so that's why we were in Sahagun. Not a particula - We planned this stop enroute to Porto to give the kids a break. It worked out great, the staff awesome and the secure parking was brilliant to keep our valuable load safe over night. Kids had a great time, would stay here again! A massive thanks to the staff :) 10/10

Somehow the presence of the citchen was not stated either in the description of the room or on the photo of it.   The Hostal offers clean and comfortable accommodation, close to the city sights and with plenty of cafes/restaurants within easy walking distance. The owners are very pleasant and helpful people who speak good English. For a sightseeing visit to Salamanca, this is an excellent base offering exceptional value for money. We have travelled quite extensively in Spain and this is most definitely a Hostal that we would re - Great location on a quiet street, walking distance to the old town and also a street of tapas where the locals go. Rooms are nice and clean, decent enough size, WiFi worked fine without issues. The couple who run the hotel are extremely helpful, as well as being very enthusiastic about Salamanca and its history.

  You get a room in bungalow, 4 per bungalow, there are 8 bungalows. The room is spacious and clean, the owners are friendly and helpful, speaking Spanish, of course. We like quiet nights, and as high season was over, that is what we got.
