  Staff were excellent and so attentive, despite speaking limited English they were always willing to help - ie giving directions, extra pillows etc. Room was minimal but perfect for the price - had a comfy double bed in a private room that was quiet and had an AC which is all we were after! Location is A+. 3min walk to train and bus stations and 1... wat mensen zeggen » 0min to walk into the centre - we didn't need to use any public transport while we were there (about a 20min walk to the beach but it was a pleasant s - I had booked two individual nights, and could easily swop them for the same room, and the very kind lady at reception just charged me very little extra for the more expensive 2nd room. I had a terrace, it was quite (except the bus) I loved looked TV in the lounge (Eurovision) with other quests. I loved it is really near the stations. I highly recommend it!

  This is the second time we've stayed in the Hostal Santuario in the last 2 years. San José is a fantastic little town in Cabo de Gata National Park, and definitely the place to stay! You have easy access to the park for trekking, beach, etc., but also you find yourself in a lively little town. We (again) asked for a room on the secon - Everything was astonishingly good. Although not many of the staff speak English they are very accommodating and helpful if you have a query. The breakfasts are wholesome and varied with everything you could need and expect. Whilst not overly large the bedrooms are very clean and comfortable, toiletries are provided daily and the mini fridge and free safe are a real bonus. The rooms good sized, clean good sized bathrooms, beds comfy enough, however empty mini freezer, no tea making facility or even empty glasses or water in the room.
