  BcnStop is a centrally located decent compact accomodation probably less than 10 minutes walk down to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The neighbourhood is rather safe and pleasant. That said, one should never let their guard down wherever they are and however safe the area seems. Just round the corner, one can find plenty of good eateries at Avenid... wat mensen zeggen » a (Avenguda) de Gaudi. To be honest in the apartment we were in I could not logon to the WiFi connection. Wasn't bothered about it. Ok maybe some more - perfectly located cheap hotel with underground garage in the centre of Barcelona and only 700? meters from sagrada Familia, lot´s of shops, restaurants and bars next to the hotel.

  We spent 6 fantastic days at the B&C BCN, our room had private toilet (we loved the shower with hydromassage and radio!)and was spacious, nice in every single detail, clean and very well kept. Vanessa, at the reception, is just amazing:she provided plenty of useful suggestions about the city and surroundings,arranged transport for the airport ... wat mensen zeggen » (both upon arrival and departure),helped with ticket reservations,assisted with luggage the day of the check out... she really made our stay special! - Loved it! Incredibly nice staff, the lady at the front was so helpful from the moment we booked. She offered us the best room for not additional charge even though we were fine with the one we had originally booked. She was so helpful with telling us about destinations to check out in Barcelona. The newly remodelled rooms were very stylish, very comfortable, the modern shower had a built-in radio and massage setting.   I would like to stress out how Tina and Jose have been nice, helpful and welcoming. If you want luxury and 5 stars hotel feeling: well: book one and pay the price for it but do not moan about this little B&B that is clean enough, convenient enough, run by nice people and cheap!!! Again, if you want luxury: pay the price tag that goes with it or enjoy this bugdet hotel where you will get all you need, even a bit of a/c whic - Hosts were lovely! Tina was very helpful. Provided us straight away with bus information a map and suggestions for places to visit. Room was big with a table and fridge. Breakfast was self serve with plenty to choose from. Excellent location for Gaudi tours and Guell Park. Everything we did was in walking distance. Easy to get train to airport from this spot too. Tina also provided a cheap laundry service which made things so easy! Beds were firm which was fine for us but may bother others.

  Overall, we had a great vacation and we enjoyed our stay at Castro . the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to offer help and answer our questions, perfect place for families, the location is perfect near two metro stations, we loved it and I recommend this for families. - Great place!   Staff were friendly and spoke English fluently. The room and facilities were very clean. We didn't think the room was small at all - we could fit both our large suitcases in without any troubles. The hostal is also conveniently located in the heart of Barcelona. Passeig de Gracia is within walking distance and Casa Mila is just two blocks away! There are plenty of decent restaurants around the area as well as a laundry service two blocks down f - The location of Hostal Boutique Khronos was excellent, 10 mins walk from the main square where buses to and from airport were situated. Bus Turistic city tour buses also leave from here. We were also only 15 mins walk from The Ramblas, the main tourist shopping street. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful. The bed was quite hard, but this seems to be the case in many Spanish hotels. there was also a great terrace where free tea was served. Right next
