  Wonderful helpful, friendly staff whom we spent a lot of time just chatting with! Small, intimate hostel (max 28 ppl at one time) so it is really easy to socialize with your fellow travellers. As two 20-something girls we stayed in the private bedroom with 2 single beds and it was perfect! Looked just like the pictures and felt like a boutique hot... wat mensen zeggen » el (design, details, helpful staff) at a fraction of the cost. Great location and easy to navigate to all the main sights, nightlife, etc. - Hostel is located in a very quiet street in the old town part of the city, not far from the Nord train station and close to everything else. Rooms have lockers, small table, clothes hangers and mirror. Good internet connection in all parts of the hostel.

  Lovely place, great interior, nice bed and spacious room and bathroom. We booked only a few days before arrival and where pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Staff was super friendly and we payed only E 50 a night for a really good room. The hotel is situated perfectly, nearby the Mercado and some good restaurants.   It was a bit of a mission to locate El Rincon as most lanes are one-way and the nearby neighbourhood was a bit seedy. But don’t let the outside appearance fool as once inside with the car safely parked free in a large garage on site the impression changed. We had a recently renovated third floor room with ensuite. Excellent value for mone - El Rincon was well-located near to centre city, restaurants and coffee shops, touristy stalls and a really good local fresh food market and city tourist attractions. We were lucky enough to happen across a small religious parade of an icon through the streets. We were able to walk from the train to the hostal which is located in the old town.

  I ist just an amazing place :) You live in a side street (so it's pretty calm compared to the general noise in Valencia) and you are close to everytning. All what we needed was in walking distance. They rent also bicycles (we got 10% discount). We cycled to the beach and to the Albufera reserve (It was really worth the effort). And if you need so... wat mensen zeggen » mething you missing, just ask the hosts, they will do everything for you :) Thank you for the nice stay Cristina, Martina and Igor! - Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. It was good to have access to a kitchen facility.

  The location is great! In the middle of the old center, in walking distance to many restaurants, tapas bars, sights, shopping street, etc. The price-quality ratio of the hotel is very good. Our room was about 46 euro per night, for a small room with double bed, hot shower, small balcony; no breakfast though. Warm atmosphere, good information available at reception. - The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget. Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.
