  I loved there! You are really in the center of Madrid so no need to buy any tickets for train or so. Near all the biggest madrid atracctions and Chueca if you are gay :-). Very clean simple hostal and nice personal. Come on..it´s too cheap too. there´s a lot of restaurants around and the metro is very near anyway.   The staff was very kind and helpful, and the hostel has an excellent location in the center, just next to Plaza Mayor, 5 minutes from Palacio Real and in front of the hostel there is the market San Miguel which has one of the best offer of foods. - The rooms are amazing, the best hostel I've ever been to! The price is great for what you get! this was my 3rd stay in this hostel and I spoke to others staying in other hostels paying more and they wernt anywhere near as good!

  De plaats tegenover het koninklijk paleis en het ontbijt in het nabijgelegen restaurant. Ook waren we blij met het Engels van Maria en de gastvrijheid van Manuel :) - Wonderful view. We were placed in a huge room at no extra cost. Very clean. Quite an experience for us even !though we know Madrid well. - The biggest bonus of this little family-run place is its unrivalled location facing the Royal palace. Staff are very responsive and punctual and the place has the charm of a 18th century building.

  Good enough for the prices. kitchen is ok (very clean and have everything you need). The breakfast is quite simple but still nice. Super friendly staff and it's a good place for making new friends (: . And finally, its position inside the city is very central, so you don't need to use metro every time you go out.
