  We made a booking for 2 nights and got a good room that was to the inside of building. There were 2 head boards, which showed that the 3rd bed was just makeshift. But we had adequate space and ample light, so I'm not complaining. A no-fuss checkin and checkout. That the bell was answered immediately (whenever we d - This is rather a 3 star hotel not just a hostel - the rooms are small but are really cosy and comfortable; the furniture is new and there is enough place to put all your the baggage; it was extremely clean (we had our room cleaned every day); there`s free wi-fi which is fast; the personal speaks English which is quite an advantage in Spain; location - perfect - 2 mins to Gran Via and not more than 20 mins to Puerta del Sol and at the same time it was not noisy at all.

Het trappenhuis in zijn huidige staat (versleten trapen stucwerk) is een verrassende en leuke dissonant T.O.V. hetschitteren... wat mensen zeggen » de interieur van SantodominGO! Aanrader! - de ligging is super, midden in de stad alles op loopafstand. De kamers zijn keurig het ontbreekt aan niets. Het receptie personeel was volledig op de hoogte van de ins en outs van Madrid.We hebben hier dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt. Wij komen zeker terug en zullen dit iedereen aanbevelen. De Prijs van de kamer gezien de ligging is goedkoop.

  I am so glad to say that everything about this central accomodation is absolutely perfect! My girlfriend and I arrived on a Thursday evening by Metro, and after some time fumbling around in the Gran Via area we found this gate (number 50) right next to Geox shoe store. Straight up to 5th floor and we were greeted by a young gentleman (Ulises) to r... wat mensen zeggen » oom 1 overlooking a fantastic view of the Gran Via. Was a very sweet surprise to find 2 towel swans waiting for us, accompanied by a small bottle of c - I liked everything about this hostel. It is on the 5th floor but don't worry because they do have an elevator. The place was recently renovated so everything is new, modern, and beautifully decorated w/TV and nice quiet a/C. Even though it is on a very busy main street, my room #12 was quiet because it faced into a courtyard. Wi-Fi was free and worked great. The location could not be better. I could walk to Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and gardens, Plaza Espagna, and the Opera house. The

  The hotel was excellent, clean and a very good price. Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Hotel is in the centre of Madrid so when you go behind the corner, you are immediately in the shopping streets. We highly recommend this hotel and will visit again when we'd go back to Madrid!
