  It was extemely central. My room was in the back, therefore very quiet. Bed was o.k. The place was quiet. There were two shared bathroom facilities however no no else was there, so I had complete access. I had a key, so I could come and go as I pleased. It was up three flights, so I wouldn't recommend for people who can't do stairs. The owner was a very nice and helpful person.

  The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The location of Hostal Zacatin is perfect. For the price point the room I stayed in was great because it had a clean bathroom inside the room, a/c unit, tv, and the towels were very clean. The communal showers were also kept very clean. Price was unbeatable-this place is located just off Plaza de Nueva, so is close to tapas bars, flamenco shows, restaurants, shops & all the tourist sights.   Excellent location. Service-minded staff. Clean. Good value. Although we had a room towards the street we had no problems with noise, but I guess it depends on when you go to bed. People are out on the street outside until 1, but after that we found it calm. She was friendly & very helpful - if she was not actually in the reception and we needed anything we just had to knock on her door. She even allowed us to leave our luggage with her, after we had checked out, so that we could go sight-seeing. The hostal was centrally located - near the Cathedral & within metres of restaurants. There was parking nearby.

  The pension is in a great location on Gran Via, it's less than 5 minutes walk to the bus for the Alhambra. It's also very close to the Cathedral and the main shopping area. The lady who runs the pension is really friendly and helpful - she gave us fantastic advice about visiting the Alhambra( as we hadn't been able to get tickets in advance) and... wat mensen zeggen » was chatty every time we saw her. Our room had a view of the Alhambra which was an unexpected treat and we had direct access to the roof terrace whi - Great location. The rooms are at the roof on the 5th floor with an amazing view. Ask for the room with terrace and you won't be disappointed. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Totally recommend.
