  BcnStop is a centrally located decent compact accomodation probably less than 10 minutes walk down to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The neighbourhood is rather safe and pleasant. That said, one should never let their guard down wherever they are and however safe the area seems. Wasn't bothered about it.   I would like to stress out how Tina and Jose have been nice, helpful and welcoming. If you want luxury and 5 stars hotel feeling: well: book one and pay the price for it but do not moan about this little B&B that is clean enough, convenient enough, run by nice people and cheap!!! Again, if you want luxury: pay the price tag that goes with it or enjoy this bugdet hotel where you will get all you need, even a bit of a/c whic - Hosts were lovely! Tina was very helpful. Provided us straight away with bus information a map and suggestions for places to visit. Room was big with a table and fridge. Breakfast was self serve with plenty to choose from. Excellent location for Gaudi tours and Guell Park. Everything we did was in walking distance. Easy to get train to airport from this spot too. Tina also provided a cheap laundry service which made things so easy! Beds were firm which was fine for us but may bother others.

  The apartment was lovely. Nice little balconies overlooking a park. Plenty of space. We were very happy to have the kitchen facilities, and the price was the same as a regular hotel. The location was wonderful, just a couple of blocks north of the University. A big plus is the well equiped kitchen and good acces to wi-fi. The hostel is close to metro station and there are few shops nearby - but it may be hard to buy something during siesta or on Sunday.
