The air-conditioning worked very well in both the bedroom , living area and bathroom. The apartments are very close to a fresh food market and supermarket. Beach was 10 minutes walk, Metro 5 minutes walk. Barcelona harbour and centre was a 30 to 40 minute walk along the seafront which is a flat easy walk. Plenty of cafes, supermarkets and fruit/veg shops nearby. Our apartment, although ground floor, had use of the roof terrace.

  It's a very nice place to stay in when you're in Barcelona. The location of the apartment is convenient especially if you're going in summer season because the seaside is less then 5 minutes walk and if you want to discover city famouse landmarks it won't take long to get to the city center using metro line l4. There are a lot of local restaurants... wat mensen zeggen » and cafes in Poblenou neighbourhood. Also there are a several supermarkets and convinient stores nearby. This neighbourhood seems very quit and safet - It's really a home away from home. We immediately settled in and found the location very ideal as everything we need for a week's stay is just round the corner. Easy connection on the Metro is about 8mins walk(safe to travel at night as the neighbourhood is well-lit). Food is abundance esp along Poblenou on La Rambla street which is 5mins walk away.If you prefer to cook,many supermarkets are avail.Merkat(local huge supermarket/Sun close) is only 5mins away and local fresh poultry,seafood,fruits

  We stayed at Feelathome Marquet Beach Apartments at address Carrer Galceran Marquet, 8. Two adults and two children (8 and 4 years old). 1) They don't have 24 hours reception desk so they contact you by email or/and by phone and provide you with the detailed instructions on how to get there and explanations about the check-in procedure. We arrived by train and had a delay about 2 hours, but we had no problems wh - Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and catered to all of our needs. The apartment itself was nice,clean and compact and of course a bargain for the money we paid,much bigger than a hotel room and cheaper. There are coffee shops,kiosks,an organic supermarket close by, basically everything you'd need for an enjoyable visit. Wi-fi was free and extremely fast.

  Actually everything was good enough, even the thing that apartment was tiny was not a problem, enough for family of 3 people... location is great, near city center around 3 km. We've rented a car so that was not a problem to find a place for the night and its free of charge. apartments are new, with conditioners, elevator and two TV, dishwashing m... wat mensen zeggen » achine, little kitchen, iron and ironing desk, washing machine, toaster, kettle, cups and glasses, plates and other stuff. Silent place and nice view - The apartment was very contemporary and so was the rest of the building. The rooftop pool and sun bathing area had gorgeous views. We had our beds made everyday and bins emptied everyday which was very convenient. Half way through the week that we spent there, we also had 'deep cleaning' which we appreciated too. The fact that there was wifi was an extra bonus.
